Micolash described them returning to his loft again and again, despite being slain by him a great many times. And keep in mind, as Micolash was then a host, he was unable to die in the dreamlands as well, until this particular hunter managed to best him. I must infer then, the Hunter was perhaps sent by another Great One to dispense justice upon Micolash and his Nightmare. And well, to slay Micolash is but one step, and the second would be to liberate little Mergo, with whatever method that would take..." He does frown briefly.
