She sits in silence, in turns surprised and concerned, the sound of her breathing and occasional sip of tea the only indication that she remains seated across from him. There are moments that she'd like to ask a question -- the brief mention of the mother Yharnam is one of them -- but she holds her tongue, not wanting to interrupt. She suspects that Abysa has needed to vent for quite some time, and why wouldn't he? Micolash is difficult under the best of circumstances. Her brief interaction with him recently was enough to make her lose patience with the morally bankrupt scholar. She can only imagine how long her friend's frustrations have been simmering.

Slowly, so as not to startle him, she reaches out and pats one of his hands. "I understand," she says reassuringly. "I know about Mergo... I know more than that, too. It's so frustrating that he won't acknowledge any fault or responsibility for the hurt he's caused others. And the fact that he won't even trust you, after all the kindness you've shown him..."

She pauses, intending to give him a chance to rant further, if he wishes, or compare notes on Micolash's faults, but the demon's earlier words remind her that there is more to this subject than already mentioned. "What did you mean by having done him wrong?"
