"Oh, there he is," Adia says as soon as Abysa materializes into the Nexus. It's impossible for her not to miss an entrance like that. She smiles at the demon, but doesn't get a chance to say hello before he's addressing Caspar first.

...or, he's only going to address Caspar. That's weird. Doesn't he see her? She looks over at Caspar, who is staring up at Abysa, his lips pursed into a skeptical frown, likely thinking the same thing. He doesn't seem thrilled at being addressed as mortal, either -- there was a time that he was functionally immortal and the reminder irritates him -- but at least the demon didn't call him a human.

"I am," he replies evenly. "You looking for her?"

"Abysa, I'm right here," she pipes up, waving an arm to get his attention. "Can't you see me?"
